Kentucky Derby winner Medina Spirit is set to try for the second leg of the Triple Crown on Saturday at the 2021 Preakness Stakes, which takes place in Baltimore.

Medina Spirit was given the "okay" to race by Maryland officials after passing three rounds of drug testing. The colt tested positive for a steroid after the Derby, so his team agreed to rigorous testing as a condition of entry.

Trainer Bob Baffert denies any wrongdoing, but he has been suspended and will not be in attendance at the Preakness Stakes.

Medina Spirit, who is the favorite in the field of 10, could still be stripped of his Derby win if another test comes back positive.
