After the CDC put out new guidelines easing its mask requirements, a well-known grocery chain is following suit.
Trader Joe's will no longer require customers who are fully vaccinated to wear a mask, wherever state or local regulations allow.
The grocery chain made the announcement Friday.
This comes just one day after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said people who are fully vaccinated can stop wearing masks outdoors in crowds, and in most indoor settings.
Gov. Cuomo says New York is reviewing the new guidance, and the CDC did note it is up to individual states to implement any changes.
The CDC says people should still wear masks in places like hospitals, buses or planes.
