Non-Fair events at the New York State Fairgrounds have been canceled through February 2021. That includes the 2021 Winter Fair.

"Non-Fair events that cannot socially distance have been cancelled through the end of February in line with the current guidance covering large gatherings in order to give show promoters adequate time to adjust. Such events will return when guidance allows," said Dave Bullard, the State Fair Marketing and Public Relations manager, in a statement Thursday.

According to the New York State Fair website, the fairgrounds is still making plans for the annual expo scheduled for February 4-6 in 2022.

Last year's expo attracted 15,000 people to the fairgrounds to enjoy food, rides, outdoor fireworks, and various other vendors.
