Absentee ballot counting is continuing Wednesday in Onondaga County. Most Boards of Elections started their absentee count Monday - but Onondaga was pushed back a day due to a court order.

The county has 57,407 absentees to go through. Democratic Board of Elections Commissioner Dustin Czarny calls the count "organized chaos."

He says yesterday went smoothly, but court cases and objections from some Republican candidates are expected to slow things down.

"We're going to go until it does, but if we were allowed to do our job I believe it would be about a seven-day job. I do think it is going to take longer with these objections," said Czarny

For the latest on all of the races that matter to you, the Onondaga County board plans to post updated results at 9 p.m. each night.

You can find the latest results on the Spectrum News app in the Decision 2020 section, as well.
