Following an increase in the COVID-19 cases, new visitor restrictions go into effect Thursday at Upstate University Hospital.

Limited visitation will be allowed for end of life decision making.

The Golisano Children's Hospital will allow up to two guardians or support people over the age of 18 per patient. One parent or support person can stay with children for surgeries.

The Upstate Cancer Center and outpatient areas will only allow visitors who are essential for care. Upstate surgery patients should ask their support person to return home whenever possible.
