It would be safe to say a few newborn babies at St. Joseph's Health Hospital were "Star Wars" fans from birth.

Nora, Shane, Max and Cecilia were all born over the past few days.

Hospital staff wanted to have some fun and asked their parents if it would be OK to dress them up.

Characters include BB8, Yoda, R2D2 and Princess Leia to mark Friday's premiere of "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker."

"This year we decided to mix it up a little bit and let’s do 'Star Wars,'" Women and Children Services Director Gael Gilbert said. "Especially with all the information coming out about Baby Yoda. We thought 'oh, that will be a really good tie into our babies."

Hospital officials said they like to have some fun with the newborns every so often.

"I think it's a great opportunity," said Shane's father, Mike Beckett. "We kind of lit up yesterday. Two reasons. One the birth of our baby but secondly, you guys want to be a part of it? Of course, we jumped right up at the opportunity."

Last year the hospital dressed up a few babies in Syracuse University attire.
