Riding a snowmobile is a lot of fun, but it's also important to stay safe.
A snowmobile safety course was held Sunday at the Tipsy Goat Lakeside Grill in Colden. Training was led by New York State certified instructors from Colden Trail Riders and Holland Sno-Rascals.
Safety Tips:
- Wear a helmet
- Never ride while under the influence
- Make sure you know where you're going
- Check with local clubs to see what trails are open
- Make sure a loved one knows your plans
