You may notice more orange than usual around Syracuse.

But it's not just Syracuse University football fans repping the color, it’s Clemson University as well.

"They've been nice,” said Lucia Humphrey, a Clemson fan. “I think they get a little jealous that we're Orange too. But I like seeing all the Orange."

Thousands of Clemson supporters traveled hundreds of miles to watch them play SU. Many of them got their first taste of Salt City.

"So far, it seems pretty welcoming,” said Yianna Cappas, a Clemson fan.

"You can tell how old the city is,” said Ron Johnson, a Clemson fan. “The architecture is amazing. The people are friendly."

They also love the downtown area.

"There were several good Irish bars and pubs we ate at,” Johnson said. “It was excellent.”

"We flew in and went to Toronto, Niagara Falls, and we went to the Finger Lake wineries today, said Cappas. “We explored some of Upstate NY which I haven't had a chance to do before."

But they're really excited to land in their final destination - the Dome.

"First game in Syracuse, and we're excited,” said Cappas. “But we heard it's a little warm in Dome."

"It's going to be really hot,” said Humphrey. “No AC. And we're not used to that in the South.”

"We've prepared, shorts and t-shirts even though it's cold,” said Humphrey.

They won't forget the bottles of water, too. However, Clemson fans are hoping the Orange can handle the heat.

"It's time for a little revenge,” said Johnson. “It's time to make up for mistakes. Playing that game here and losing really woke us up."

"Two years ago, you all had the big one, but I think Clemson is going to pull it off,” said Cappas. “But, I think it's going to be a fun environment."

"Tigers on top this year,” said Humphrey.

Only time will tell. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
