Need to cool down at the Lewis County Fair this weekend? There's already a plan to help.

Around the fairgrounds, there are several fan cooling stations and mist blowers. For animals, more fans have been brought into the barns and there are ice packs for the smaller animals to lay on.

Fair organizers say the most important tip is to stay hydrated.

"There lots of places at the fair, out of the sun,” said Lewis County Fair President Doug Hanno. “You can go underneath our grand standards exhibit. The 4H building, the Nickels Building has lots of activities for young kids to do, and we have fans in all of these buildings. There's really not a heat problem here today. And here's a nice b breeze right out on the midway."

The fair will continues Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to midnight.
