A new booth made some hearts melt with joy at the Taste of Syracuse and it's purrfect for cat lovers.

Luna Cafe will eventually become part restaurant and part cat lounge. Owner Josh Davis says he got the idea after visiting similar cat cafes in Japan.

Davis is hoping to partner with animal shelters and bring in some older cats to be a part of the cafe's meow-mable experience. 

And, all of the community's support is helping him work to turn this into a reality. 

"I love this city, ever since I've lived here," said Luna Cafe Owner Josh Davis. "I'm super proud to be bringing this cat cafe to us. And I just hope we're open this year, so we can start helping cats and people and connecting them."

There is no set location yet, but the owner plans to have the cafe open early next year.
