Get your five senses ready as you will soon be able to see, hear, touch, smell, and certainly taste everything and more at the 2019 Taste of Syracuse.

Known as “THE kickoff event” the Taste of Syracuse is the annual summer festival that takes place in Clinton Square. The event brings out local vendors for two days of fun and food.

With nearly 225,000 visitors in 2018, the Taste of Syracuse has become one of the most anticipated events in Central New York.

Here’s what you need to know about the festival:

What are the dates of Taste of Syracuse?

The event will run June 7-8 in Clinton Square.

How much does it cost to enter?

Admission is free to Taste of Syracuse, but prices for food samples and meals are made by each individual vendor.

What vendors will be participating at Taste of Syracuse?

More than 80 vendors will be participating and nearly 40 exhibitors will be in attendance as well, including Spectrum News. For a full list of vendors, visit the Taste of Syracuse website.

 

 

Where can I park?

Convenient parking for those attending is at the Washington Street garage, located at 340 West Washington Street. For $10, visitors will be able to park within walking distance of Taste of Syracuse. The garage will stay open until 3 a.m. Saturday morning, then re-open 8 a.m. Saturday and stay open until 3 a.m. Sunday.

During Taste of Syracuse, surrounding streets will be impacted by road closures. The streets that will be closed are:

  • 100 block of West Water Street, between South Salina and Clinton Streets
  • Erie Boulevard West, between Clinton and Franklin Streets
  • Clinton Street, from Genesee Street to Washington Street
  • 200 block of West Water Street, between Clinton and Franklin Streets
  • 300 block of West Water Street, from Franklin Street to the West Street Arterial
  • Franklin Street, from Erie Boulevard West to Washington Street
  • Franklin Street, south bound traffic from Genesee Street to Erie Blvd.
  • Erie Boulevard West, from Franklin Street to the West Street Arterial

Is there anything that I am not allowed to bring?

No glass containers or pets are allowed in the event. No alcoholic beverages can be brought in or out of Taste of Syracuse.

What entertainment will be available during Taste of Syracuse?

With three stages of live entertainment, there are plenty of options for music and fun while enjoying all of the local food Taste of Syracuse has to offer.
