There's another push to change the face of the $20 bill, and this time Congressman John Katko is behind it.

The Republican representative is co-sponsoring a bipartisan bill to speed up efforts to put Harriet Tubman on the twenty. It's called the Harriet Tribute Act of 2019.

The congressman is concerned that the Trump administration is delaying the change.

Tubman was a former slave in the 1800s who won her freedom and helped others escape on the Underground Railroad. She made Auburn her home.

"Many residents here in my community have been working on that for a number of years. A few years back, we thought it was going to be over and done with, we would have the $20, and for whatever reason Washington works in mysterious ways and its been put on the back burner unfortunately," said Auburn Mayor Michael Quill.

Former U.S. president Andrew Jackson is currently on the bill.
