A popular lake-side restaurant in Oswego is dealing with rising waters on Lake Ontario.

Rudy's General Manager Jason Livesey is keeping an eye on levels along the shore of Lake Ontario as it covers part of his eating area.

He says the place is still open for business, but guests can not sit outside and probably won't be able to anytime soon.

Livesey tells us the $12,000 in repair work they did after last year's flooding has been destroyed, and he's already seeing some erosion.

"This is unprecedented, by no means have we ever taken the time of damage, or repetitive storms. They don't throw up the beach on a yearly basis like they've been doing the last three years now, so this is uniquely different to anything we have been accustomed to previously," Livesey said.

They have lost about five feet along a hundred foot section of shoreline and he is worried things will get worse.

Congressmen John Katko and Anthony Brindisi have reached out to Rudy's. They also called on the International Joint Commission.

Many say the problems started when the IJC made changes to the water regulation plan.
