The SU women getting home court advantage against the Fordham Rams this weekend actually messed up scheduling for the university’s lacrosse teams, who were supposed to be inside the Carrier Dome this weekend.

The 12th-ranked men are hosting No. 2 Duke on Sunday.

That lacrosse game is now being moved to Cicero-North Syracuse High School at 2 p.m.

The process started a few weeks ago when SU reached out to North Syracuse officials.

"We're very proud of our stadium," said Tim Bednarski, Cicero-North Syracuse Athletics Director. "I feel like it's the best in the state. And I knew we could host it if we had to because we've done some major high school events"

Ticket prices will remain the same as if the games were being played at the Dome, however seating is far more limited so people are encouraged to get tickets ahead of time to make sure they have a place to sit. Also, the venue is cash only.

Due to NCAA rules, CNS won't profit from the game aside from the stadium lease fee. SU is in control of parking, ticket sales, security and the scoreboard.

The SU women play Notre Dame on Saturday at noon at Christian Brothers Academy. That game is free to attend.
