Two local business owners are hoping to share the warmth with their neighbors.

For the last month, the owners of Checkz 'N' Balances have been collecting winter coats, hats, gloves and more.

The two Syracuse natives have created the clothing brand over the past two years. They say they're trying to bring the unseen to light, like the need for basic winter wear for Syracuse residents.

"And it will shed light on us and what we're doing and it will bring more awareness to the city about the poverty that's going on," said Checkz N Balances Co-Owner James Williams, alongside co-owner Ramon Thomas.

The two will be distributing clothing at Cougars on Butternut Street from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
