SAN ANTONIO – A man is in police custody after a crash on Interstate 10 overnight on Monday.

  • Driver in custody
  • Fled from fiery crash
  • Suspected of DWI

San Antonio police said at 12:29 a.m. a man driving an SUV clipped the front of a tractor-trailer near Camp Bullis Road. The driver then fled from the vehicle as the SUV caught on fire.

Roads were briefly closed after oil spilled from the tractor-trailer.

Officers later arrested the SUV driver under suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Police said no one was injured in the crash.
