The Manlius police officer who needs a bone marrow transplant has found a partial match.

Ken Hatter was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2007. The cancer became more aggressive two years ago, ultimately necessitating the transplant.

Several marrow drives were held looking for a match for Hatter. In an update on Facebook, family members shared that Hatter found a strong match with a member of the military.

He is tentatively scheduled to undergo the transplant on November 20.
