Volunteers at the CNY SPCA are doing what they can to get almost 100 cats ready for adoption.
Workers took in the pure bred cats late Wednesday night. Breeds ranged from Persian to Maine Coon.
The owner signed them over after not being able to care for them. Her name is not being released.
The good news is that most of the cats are healthy. But, that's not the case for all of them, and they need monetary donations to get them ready for adoption.
"The biggest thing we need right now is the financial support so we can get these animals the medical treatment they need,” said Fundraising and Special Services Coordinator CJ Kulesa. “So many of them are going to require at the minimum, antibiotics and some others could require extensive medical care.
If you're interested in adopting one of the cats contact the SPCA at 315-454-4479 or visit their website.
