Lidl grocery store opening in Concord on Sept. 19

NORTH CAROLINA -- Shoppers in Concord will have a chance to check out their new Lidl grocery store when it opens on Sept. 19.

Concord residents will be able to shop at a local Lidl starting on Sept. 19
It will be located on Christenbury Parkway.
The grand opening will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an array of samples.

The new location will be located at 8930 Christenbury Parkway.

The grand opening will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:40 a.m., immediately followed by an official chance for locals to get a look inside.

“As a long-time resident of Concord, I know how excited the community will be to hear this grand opening announcement – and for good reason!” said Store Manager Rashan Noje.

The first 100 customers will be personally greeted by Noje and presented with a wooden coin redeemable for a special gift card ranging from $5 to $100 each.

Shoppers will also be able to sample an array of Lidl’s products and even grab a complimentary reusable bag.
