SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- You can find music and food of every kind downtown this weekend.

Despite a little rain hundreds came out to grab a bite of their favorite foods. And they have until 11 p.m. tonight and tomorrow to get more to eat.

It's enough to make anyone smile-- food of every style. Mexican, Donuts, Coffee-- all you can eat for only a dollar at a time.

"It's great. At least you get a little bit out there, a little flavor of what you're about and hopefully they come into your resturant as well," said Danielle Mecuri, the Owner of Rise and Shine Diner.

Taste of Syracuse kicked off Friday, attracting crowds of food-lovers.

"I think it just bring togetherness. I think it's cool. I think it just brings everything together. It shows exactly what Syracuse has to offer as far as food. I love the food in Syracuse-- I think there is a lot of diversity here," said Syracuse Resident Allison Logue

80 vendors with 18 new additions gives everyone the chance to grab their favorite flavor. Even a little rain couldn't keep the foodies away.

There are going to be a total of 34 bands playing here through the course of tonight and tomorrow. Smashmouth will be taking us back to the 90s with a set Saturday night.

The festival begins again Saturday at 11 a.m.
