Meanwhile, The 505 on Walnut will include 126 units at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and East Genesee Street.

Both projects will feature amenties including parking garages, fitness centers and courtyards.

The general manager of The 505 on Walnut project said the apartments will feature voice activated controls and modern technology features to meet student needs.

"It's built for students.  It's high end, it's modern, it's trendy, it's high tech.  It's exactly what the current student today is looking for that attends Syracuse University.  So, we have them covered," said The 505 on Walnut General Manager Marybeth Riscica.
