Students organized the Syracuse Town Hall for our Lives to continue the conversation on gun violence.

Local politicians were invited to attend and hear what residents had to say.

Green and red papers symbolized approval or disapproval of things said.

Dozens of students and parents were at Nottingham High school for the event.

Students hope to keep their momentum going.

"March for our lives was the first step and now we have to keep it going,” said Town Hall of Our Lives Organizer Jessa Davidson. “So we want everyone to know we're not sitting down for this we're making a change and the students are gonna make this happen

All three democratic candidates in the 24th district attended the event.
