Syracuse police now say two people are in serious, but stable condition after an overnight shooting outside the Vincent Apartments on the city's Southside.

Officers responded to the area just before 1:30 Thursday morning after reports of shots fired.

When they arrived, they found a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest and 23-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her back.

The victims told police that they were sitting in a car at the time of the shooting.

The suspects were described as wearing all dark clothing and last seen on foot running from the scene.
