A Canastota basketball coach is charged after allegedly sharing inappropriate photos with his players.

According to Canastota Police, coach Joe Vaccaro shared at least one photo with two players under the age of 17.

Police say there was an incident in September of last year, and another last month.

Vaccaro has now been charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child

The district had previously place him on leave, but he has since resigned. The investigation is ongoing.

The district is offering counseling and support. Any students or staff who have more information are encouraged to call police or the interim athletic director in the district.
