Karrie Neurauter was arraigned in Corning Friday on a second degree murder charge related to allegations that she conspired with her father to kill her mother.
In front of Judge Matthew McCarthy, the 20-year-old waived her right to a preliminary hearing. It'll now move to Steuben County Court.
Neurauter walked out of court knowing she could stand trial in front of a jury and plead her case.
She and her father Lloyd are accused of killing her mother, 46-year-old Michele Neurauter, in August. Investigators claim the two allegedly staged it to look like a suicide. It was later ruled a homicide.
Karrie was arrested Thursday at her apartment in Syracuse. Her father was taken into custody in Princeton, N.J. Both sides say they're preparing their cases.
Karrie Neurauter pleaded not guilty. Lloyd Neurauter is continuing to fight extradition to Corning.
