TOWN OF CINCINNATUS, N.Y. -- Sheriff's deputies say a driver is dead after a one-car crash in Cortland County.
Deputies were called to Route 41 in the town of Cincinnatus around 7 a.m. Sunday.
They say a car left the road going around a curve, it then hit an embankment and became airborne, shearing a telephone pole and rolling over several times.
Officials say the driver was the only person in the car.
Their name isn't being released until family is notified.
Route 41 was shut down for about three hours.
Deputies are looking into the cause of the crash and want to speak with anyone who may have information — their number is 607-758-5564.
