Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner has lined up her first job once she leaves city hall.

The outgoing mayor says she has taken a teaching position at NYU, where she will be a "Visiting Distinguished Urbanist" in 2018.

Miner is serving the last of her second term as Syracuse Mayor. Her name has been linked to a possible run for governor, and that option is still a possibility.

Her position at NYU is just for the spring semester.

During that time Miner will be responsible for teaching one course, meeting with students, and speaking at campus events.
