At Cups-N-Cakes Bakery in Liverpool, you'll find all sorts of ingredients from frosting to sprinkles, but one thing you won't find, is nuts. Time Warner Cable News reporter Corina Cappabianca has more on the sweet idea for those with allergies.

LIVERPOOL, N.Y. -- Debbie Russell, said it was time to mix up her life.

"I had been at my job 15 years, and I really enjoyed baking, and I was doing a lot, some at home for family and friends, and I just decided that I'm not getting any younger. I want to do what I enjoy doing before I have to retire. And, this is what I enjoy doing," said Cups-N-Cakes Bakery Owner Debbie Russell.

She started Cups-N-Cakes Bakery with her daughter Tracey Propheter a few months ago and hasn't looked back.

"She's always made my birthday cakes every year and she always bakes and first it was like the neighborhood kids would always come to the house and eat all her baked stuff and then slowly family and friends are like can you make this for me?" said Tracey.

And baking Tracey's cakes from scratch was a matter of safety.

"I'm allergic to nuts. In the house it was a little more strict, and as I got older I'm like,  ‘oh I’m going to go, it doesn't matter,’ and then so many times it was a bad idea and I understood why she was so strict," said Tracey.

However, the icing on the cake at this bakery is that Tracey and others with nut allergies don't have to worry about which dessert they pick out.

"There's such a demand for nut-free. I never realized how many kids have nut allergies. People come in and they're so excited. Their kids have never had a cupcake from a bakery. They've never had cookies from a bakery and felt that their kids aren't going to get sick," said Russell.
