SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Onondaga county executive Joanie Mahoney said improvements are on the way for the Lakeview Amphitheater in the coming year.

The concessions operator has agreed, as part of their contract, to pay for a new concession stand.

The county is also considering using money owed by the state to pave a parking lot that would be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

New docks are also being built, and Mahoney says the hotel in the Inner Harbor plans to use water taxis to bring guests to shows.

The County Executive says she remains committed to not using taxpayer money to operate the Amphitheater.
