SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A firefighter was taken to the hospital following a fire Sunday morning in Schenectady.

Crews were called to a home on Clarendon Street around 10:30 a.m.

It took firefighters about a half hour to get it under control.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital with what's being called heat-related injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Fire department officials say it does not appear the structure of the home was compromised, and will likely not have to be torn down.
