After announcing its split in two, a North Country employer has released the name of the company that it will be partnering with.
Arconic will take the current Forgings and Extrusions operations in Massena after separation.
Last September, Alcoa announced the company would split.
Alcoa would keep its name and mine bauxite, produce aluminum, and maintain casting operations. And the company that will be Arconic -- would control engineering, transportation, and construction operations.
The new company is expected to be finished by the second half of this year.
