SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse University is playing host to one of the law school's most famous graduates. Vice President Joe Biden is expected on campus Thursday.
This is one of four stops Vice President Joe Biden is expected to make nationwide as part of the "It's On Us" Campaign. His speech will focus on how to prevent sexual assault.
Unfortunately, Syracuse University officials say tickets are no longer available to see the speech inside the Goldstein Auditorium at the Schine Student Center, but Time Warner Cable News will be carrying the speech live at 11:45 a.m.
The speech couldn't come at a better time. Just a few weeks ago SU public safety officials announced the investigation of two assaults that happened just off campus.
If you do have a ticket, there are some things to keep in mind. Doors at Goldstein Auditorium will open at 9:30 a.m. Attendees should expect to go through "airport-like" security and will only be allowed to bring limited personal items in to the event.
