ALBANY, N.Y. -- A vigil Wednesday night will mark five years since Ashley Carroll was last seen.
The Troy woman went missing in 2010, last seen with a friend near the corner of Lake and Central Avenue in Albany.
Last month, marking her 29th birthday, family members put up a new billboard in that area, in hopes of gathering information about her disappearance.
A candlelight vigil is being held Wednesday evening at the Eternal Flame monument at the corner of Madison Avenue and Swan Street in Albany. It begins at 6:30 p.m.
Anyone who may have information on Ashley Carroll's whereabouts is asked to call Albany Police.
