ALBANY, N.Y. -- City building inspectors in Albany are trying to determine the future of an old church, after the partial collapse of an exterior wall Monday afternoon.
The church, which was the Blessed Hope Worship Center, is currently not active.
It was purchased by a pastor, who has been working on getting the church up and running.
They say they have taken actions to keep the area cleared of pedestrians for their safety, as they inspect the building.
"We have three engineers inside, evaluating the situation. We will take the recommendations to see what they come with and corrective action," said city engineer Randy Milano.
The inspectors are expected to release their findings on Tuesday.
