November is National Veterans and Military Families Month, and this weekend on In Focus, we hose a conversation on ways to support New Yorkers who served. Assemblymember Bill Magnarelli joined JoDee Kenney to talk about how his service in the Army Reserves inspired him to give back to the Syracuse community and run to represent his neighbors at the State Capitol. Magnarelli discussed the ways the New York State Department of Veterans’ Services helps connect veterans with benefits, as well as his work reviving the annual Central New York Veterans Parade and Expo at the New York State Fairgrounds. The parade steps off at noon, with events running from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
