We are talking about immigration in upstate New York communities this weekend on In Focus. Dr. Myron Glick is the founder and CEO of Jericho Road Community Health Center in Buffalo. He sat down with JoDee Kenney to talk about the various services Jericho Road provides to both New Americans and the entire community. In addition to health care, the center helps clients navigate immigration and asylum cases, access benefits, and receive shelter as they establish themselves in their new city. Glick said, oftentimes, people don’t consider the risk migrants take to leave their home countries in the hopes of safety and opportunity in the U.S.
