SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Assemblyman Bill Magnarelli discusses the importance and need for people to get out and vote. Getting to the polls and making sure that people have access to the polls is what Magnarelli says is the biggest obstacle when it comes to election season. Years ago the polls were more accessible, but in “today’s day and age” the assemblyman says eligible voters should be able to vote at their convenience. New technology should allow same-day registration, early voting and making the overall experience much easier for the busyness that has become everyday life for many New Yorkers, according to Magnarelli – “there is no reason people should be unable to vote.”  In Focus is a weekly public affairs segment airing each Sunday throughout news programming, exclusively on Spectrum News.
