A group of clerical sex assault survivors is calling on the Catholic Diocese of Rochester to reveal all files of priests accused of sexual abuse within the region's catholic churches.

The "Road to Recovery" is speaking out after Monday's removal of two priests over allegations of misconduct.

Bishop Salvatore Matano restricted both Rev. Thomas Valenti and Rev. Erick Viloria from public ministry and from appearing as clerics.

Father Viloria was at Our Lady of Peace parish in Geneva. He's accused of acting inappropriately over social media with another adult.

Father Valenti asked to step down from his duties over the summer after allegations of sexually abusing a minor back in the 1970's, which he denied. He most recently served at Blessed Trinity-Saint Patrick's in Tioga County, but had pastoral responsibilities at several churches in Rochester and Ithaca College.

"It's clear that the information we have is not complete," said Robert Hoatson, Road to Recovery. "Why was Father Valenti transferred from place to place to place to place? And perhaps Father Viloria the same thing? What's the story Bishop Matano? We need to know that."

Both priests have the right to appeal the Diocese's decision.
