Oneida County is ramping up its vaccination efforts with the launch of the Boost OC Vaccination Incentive Program.

The announcement came from County Executive Anthony Picente earlier this week.

The program will issue $100 digital gift cards through a phone app to any resident who got their shot after July 15.

The gift card can be redeemed at a wide range of participating businesses.

Any organization that wants to be a part of this new initiative can visit boostOC.org to make an account and register.

Picente says this new program will not only help people who get their vaccine, but also to the businesses and non profits who have struggled throughout the pandemic.
