The state health department is now allowing indoor and outdoor visitation in assisted living facilities across the state.

The move comes with several guidelines. Facilities must have protocol plans approved by the health department.

Facilities must have zero new coronavirus cases in a 28-day period and must pass as well as complete their infection control inspections. Those who plan on visiting will be screened and must give contact information. Masks and maintaining social distance will be mandated.

Additionally, anyone who has traveled internationally or from a restricted state on the travel advisory must quarantine for 14 days before visiting.
