The man behind a popular Central New York restaurant has died.
According to his obituary, Douglas Lee Clark died at the hospital last week, at the age of 76. Clark was affectionately known as the "flounder" of Doug's Fish Fry. He started the restaurant back in 1982.
The restaurant is now located in both Skaneateles and Cortland and has a food truck.
Clark retired after 20 years, but could still be seen sitting in the restaurant to chat with customers.
He leaves behind a wife and two children, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services were held privately.
