In an interview on Capital Tonight, New York’s junior Senator Kirsten Gillibrand was asked by host Susan Arbetter if she would be interested in working in a Biden administration. The senator said while she would be willing to serve, it’s not where her focus is right now.

"I am most interested in remaining a senator for New York, and I feel very privileged to have this position to speak for New Yorkers and lift up their voices and fight for them," Gillibrand said. "Of course, I'll serve in any capacity, but I think I'm best suited here in the U.S. Senate."

Gillibrand also discussed President Trump’s unwillingness to agree to a smooth transition of power.
