A Clifton Park company, known for creating elaborate displays for trade shows and retail settings, is partnering with an iconic toy brand. In February, Creatacor is bringing an impressive LEGO display to Crossgates Mall.

When your creativity and imagination are your brand, partnering with a company that embodies those qualities is something special.

“We are bringing ideas to life,” said COO of Creatacor Will Farmer.

The company is thrilled for this venture.

“The reaction the public gives when these models are displayed is awesome,” said Andrew Little, Events and Special Projects manager for Creatacor.

In February, Creatacor is bringing the Lego Americana Roadshow to Crossgates Mall for the first time. Little is excited to bring the touring exhibit home.

“We’ve been running this show for four years and it will be awesome for the community to see what Creatacor does,” Little said.

The exhibit features 10 large-scale models of some of America’s most iconic structures such as the Capitol Building, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Statue of Liberty. They are all constructed by Lego master-builders.

“We have to make sure that they’re going to be displayed in the best way possible and that they’re going to travel safely. So we have to make the platforms that they go on safe in and out of the trucks [and] to the venues. It is a great partnership between the two of us,” Farmer said.

Inside the company’s 90,000 square foot facility, workers make elaborate displays and exhibits for trade shows and retail settings. In the age of online shopping, the task is creating a unique memorable experience.

“We create three dimensional face-to-face marketing environments, and the goal [is to create] something they remember and it is something they’ll post on social media and talk more about,” Farmer said.

The Lego Americana Roadshow will be at Crossgates Mall February 9-24.
