Breanna Fuss joined the Spectrum News 1 team in 2014. She started storytelling for Spectrum News out of the Rochester newsroom, then made the move to Buffalo not long after. Breanna has loved sharing your stories ever since.
This Minneapolis-born journalist is the recipient of a Regional Murrow Award, an AP award and an Emmy nomination. She’s covered a wide range of topics including lake effect snow, seiches, Pope Francis' visit to Philadelphia, the Women's March in Washington, D.C., and even taking a flight with the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels.
While her accolades and thrilling journalistic adventures are something she's very proud of, Breanna's biggest accomplishment is the family she has started in Buffalo. When she's not on-air she's with her husband Jeff, sons Grant and Henry and their dog Barnacle. You'll most likely find them hiking, playing at the park or at the beach. Breanna has truly felt that "Buffalove" and is so happy to call the area home.
