​​​​BUFFALO, N.Y. — ​The Buffalo Museum of Science newest exhibit kicks off this weekend. It's called Reinventing Reality and it's all about the ins and outs of virtual reality. 

Marisa Wigglesworth, president and CEO of the musuem says the new exhibit comes courtesy of the non-profit Virtual Science Center and introduces and breaks down the technology that makes virtual reality possible. You can learn about how VR stimulates the senses, how modeling is done, how the auditory experience is created and also play fun virtual reality games. Meghan Lee, executive director of Virtual Science Center, says VR is used in so many places right now.

"In fact, we talk about different careers you can have in VR, and how it's used in entertainment, in health care training," Meghan Lee, Virtual Science Center executive director, said. "We also explore jet propultion lab is using it to design spacecrafts and people use it to design furniture cars all over. So there's a lot of uses for VR."

Reinventing Reality opens to the public on Saturday, Feb. 4. and will continue until June. The museum is open 7 days a week 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Guests are encouraged to buy their tickets in advancd at sciencebuff.org
