It's a display that celebrates the holidays, local landmarks, and Central New York's Erie Canal heritage. The 37th annual Gingerbread Gallery at the Erie Canal Museum in downtown Syracuse is now open for viewing.
This year's display includes 41 submissions and every one of them is filled with detail and hard work. The homes are judged in categories including youth, senior, family, and a confectioner's division.
You can check out the edible homes that include everything from Erie Canal scenes to local landmarks.
The gallery is open every day the museum is open from now through January 8. Hours for the museum are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on most days, except for holidays. Admission is $10 for adults.
