Tonight across the Capital Region, skies will be mostly cloudy with a few flurries or a light snow shower.  Lows will be in the teens to around 20.

On Monday, expect morning clouds and a couple lingering flurries to give way to afternoon sunshine.  High temperatures will be in the 20s to around 30.

Our weather then turns much more active into Tuesday as our next winter storm arrives.  This will bring widespread snow beginning Tuesday morning.  The snow will then give way to a period of wintry mix Tuesday afternoon and evening.  Expect very slippery travel conditions during this timeframe.

Precipitation type looks to flip back to snow early Wednesday before winding down altogether.

Much quieter weather is in store on Thursday.  Expect cloudy skies and mainly dry weather with a high around 40.

More plain rain showers then return Friday into Saturday as highs reach the low-40s.

Cooler air and snow showers will then build in as we finish next weekend.
