SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Week four brought us a lot of great high school football action.  Catch highlights from some of the games around Section II Friday.

Ballston Spa 9, Burnt Hills 7

Our Friday Night Matchup was probably the most exciting of the night, and maybe the biggest upset of the season.  Ballston Spa won a thriller over perennial power Burnt Hills 9-7.  The Scotties move to 3-1 on the season, while Burnt Hills suffers its first loss of the year.

Bethlehem 33, CBA 6

Bethlehem came into Friday looking for a big bounce back win and thats just what the Eagles got.  They handed CBA its first loss of the season 33-6.  The Eagles even their record at 2-2 on the season.  CBA moves to 3-1 on the year.

Guilderland 42, Schenectady 12

After opening the season with a tough loss, Guilderland has been on a tear.  The Dutchmen picked up their 3rd straight win beating Schenectady 42-12.  Guilderland moves to 3-1 on the year while Schenectady drops to 2-2.

Shaker 49, Niskayuna 7

We've been saying these for four weeks now but Shaker continues to look like the favorite in Class AA.  The Blue Bison rolled over Niskayuna 49-7 to move to 4-0 on the season.  Niskayuna falls to 0-4 on the year.

Shenendehowa 42, Colonie 0

The Shenendehowa football team pitched a shutout for the 2nd straight week.  The Plainsmen picked up a 42-0 win over Colonie Friday night.  Shen improves to 3-1 on the year, while Colonie falls to 0-4.

Queensbury 43, Saratoga 21

The Queensbury football team continued its strong start to the season with a 43-21 win over Saratoga in a Class AA/A crossover.  The Spartans are now 4-0 on the season.  Saratoga falls to 1-3.

Averill Park 35, La Salle 13

Averill Park continues to look good after posting its 4th straight win to start the year.  The Warriors took down La Salle 35-13 to improve to 4-0 on the year.  The Cadets move to 2-2 on the season.

Troy 42, Green Tech 0

Troy was looking for a big bounce back win after losing its first game of the season last week to CBA.  The Flying Horses picked up a 42-0 win over Green Tech.  Troy improves to 3-1 on the year with a big matchup against Averill Park next week.  Green Tech is 1-3 on the year.

Scotia-Glenville 13, Mohonasen 12

The Scotia-Glenville football team won a tight battle against Mohonasen Friday night.  The Tartans improve to 2-2 on the year while Mohonasen drops to 1-3.  Scotia hosts South Glens Falls next week.

Columbia 34, Schalmont 8

The Columbia football team picked up its first win of the season on homecoming night.  The Blue Devils beat Schalmont 34-8 to move to 1-3 on the year.  Schalmont drops to 2-2.

South Glens Falls 14, Gloversville 0

The South Glens Falls football team won a defensive battle over Gloversville Friday night.  The Bulldogs shut out the Huskies 14-0 to improve to 2-2 on the season.  Gloversville falls to 0-4.

Holy Trinity 63, Ichabod Crane 7

Holy Trinity keeps things rolling with a 63-7 win over Ichabod Crane. The Pride are now 4-0 on the season. They have a big crossover matchup next weekend against Cambridge on the road.

Schuylerville 41, Hudson Falls 0

The Black Horses are now 3-1 with a 41-0 win over the Tigers. Jacob Venderhoof had a huge game for Schuylerville, scoring four touchdowns. Schuylerville will play Lansingburgh in week five.

Cobleskill-Richmondville 28, Ravena 15

Hunter Edwards leads the Bulldogs to a 28-15 win over the Indians. Edwards racked up 235 yards and scored three touchdowns in the win. Cobleskill is now 3-1 on the year, and will face La Salle next week.

Broadalbin-Perth 40, Johnstown 7

Broadalbin-Perth is now 2-2 on the season with a 40-7 win over Johnstown. The Patriots will take on Hudson Falls next week.

Mechanicville 17, Lansingburgh 7

In the Class B/C crossover game, Mechanicville picks up the 17-7 win over Lansingburgh. The Red Raiders are now 2-2 on the year. They will face Greenwich next week.

Stillwater 45, Lake George-Hadley Luzurne 26

In Class C, 4th ranked Stillwater is now 4-0 with a 45-26 win over Lake George-Hadley Luzurne. The Warriors will play in a crossover game against Warrensburg next week.

Fonda-Fultonville 41, Watervliet 30

The Braves pick up a big road win, beating the Cannoneers 41-30. Fonda is now 4-0 and will take on Helderberg Valley next.

Corinth-Fort Edward 52, Helderberg Valley 6

The War Hawks pick up a 52-6 win over Helderberg Valley. They are now 2-2 on the year. Up next for them, at home taking on Cohoes.

Tamarac 48, Cohoes 22

In a Class C/D crossover game, Tamarac beats Cohoes 48-22. The Bengals are now 4-0 on the year. They will face Coxsackie-Athens in week five.

Warrensburg 30, Whitehall 13

In Class D, The Burghers remain unbeaten with a 30-13 win over Whitehall. They will take on Stillwater next weekend.
