Guilderland 26, Bethlehem 14

Our Friday Night Matchup was a good one between Guilderland and Bethlehem.  The Dutchmen came away with a 26-14 win over the Eagles improving to 2-1 on the season.  This could have big playoff implications down the stretch.  Guilderland is on the road at Schenectady next week.  Bethlehem looks to bounce back against CBA.

Shaker 56, Saratoga 14

The Shaker Blue Bison continue to look like the favorite in Class AA posting an impressive 56-14 win over Saratoga.  The Blue Bison improve to 3-0 and will host Niskayuna next weekend.  Saratoga looks to get back in the win column next week against Queensbury.

Shenendehowa 55, Niskayuna 0

Shenendehowa bounce back from a week two loss with a 55-0 win against Niskayuna.  The Plainsmen improve to 2-1 on the season heading into a matchup with Colonie next week.  Niskayuna will try and pick up its first win of the year against Shaker next week.

Schenectady 60, Colonie 52

It was a shootout between Schenectady and Colonie Friday night.  The Patriots won a high scoring battle 60-52 over the Garnet Raiders.  Schenectady improves to 2-1 on the season while Colonie drops to 0-3.

CBA 19, Troy 13

This was a crossover matchup, but also a battle of unbeaten teams.  CBA won a close one 19-13 on the back of a couple Mike Barber touchdowns and some great defense.  CBA is now 3-0 on the season while Troy falls to 2-1.

Ballston Spa 41, Mohonasen 13

Ballston Spa has been impressive early in the season and the Scotties moved to 2-1 on the year with a 41-13 win over Mohonasen.  They're set up for a big matchup with Burnt Hills next week.  Mohonasen is at Scotia-Glenville.

Queensbury 56, Scotia-Glenville 13

Scotia-Glenville played its first game on the new turf but Queensbury spoiled the party.  The Spartans ran away with a 56-13 win improving to 3-0 on the season.  Scotia-Glenville falls to 1-2 on the year.

Averill Park 45, Green Tech 6

Averill Park rolled to a 45-6 win over Green Tech moving to 3-0 on the season.  Dan McShane and Joe Milanese each scored 3 touchdowns.

Glens Falls 42, Gloversville 7

Glens Falls stays undefeated with another dominating win.  The Indians beat Gloversville 42-7 moving to 3-0 on the year.  Glens Falls is home to face Hudson next week.  Gloversville will host South Glens Falls.

Schuylerville 57, Broadalbin-Perth 7

Schuylerville picks up a big bounce back win over Broadalbin-Perth 57-7. The Black Horses move to 2-1 on the season. They will face Hudson Falls next week.

Holy Trinity 49, Ravena 13

Holy Trinity keeps on rolling with a 49-13 win over Ravena. The Pride are now 3-0 on the season and have made their presence known in Class B. They will face Ichabod Crane in week four.

Schalmont 57, Lansingburgh 7

Schalmont picks up their second straight win, beating Lansingburgh 57-7. The Sabres improve to 2-1 on the season, and will face Columbia in a crossover game next week.

Cobleskill-Richmondville 47, Ichabod Crane 0

Cobleskill-Richmondville improves to 2-1 with a 47-0 win over Ichabod Crane. The Bulldogs face Ravena next week.

Hudson 50, Watervliet 44

In the Class B/C crossover game Watervliet and Hudson with a thrilling game that goes to overtime. But it’s Hudson coming out on top 50-44. The Blue Hawks are now 1-2 on the season and play Glens Falls in week 4.

Stillwater 48, Canajoharie-Fort Plain 14

In Class C, Stillwater looking really good and improve to 3-0 on the year with a 48-14 win over Canajoharie. The Warriors face Lake George-Hadley Luzurne next week.

Fonda-Fultonville 18, Mechanicville 7

Fonda is now 3-0 to start the year with a 18-7 win over Mechanicville. The Braves will look to go 4-0 when they play Watervliet next week.

Cambridge 41, Hoosic Valley 7

Cambridge, the defending Class C champions, are still unbeaten on the year with 41-7 win over Hoosic Valley. The Indians will face Hoosick Falls next week.

Greenwich 48, Hoosick Falls 13

Greenwich takes down Hoosick Falls 48-13 to move to 2-1. The Witches will face Hoosic Valley in week four.

Coxsackie-Athens 56, Cairo-Durham-Catskill 6

Finally in Class C, Coxsackie Athens takes down Cairo-Durham-Catskill 56-6. The Indians pick up their first win of the season. They’ll face Voorheesville next week.

Lake George-Hadley Luzurne 20, Chatham 14

In a Class C/D crossover game, it’s Lake George-Hadley Luzurne taking down Chatham on overtime 20-14. The WarEagles pick up their first win of the season. They will play Stillwater next week.

Granville 46, Cohoes 0

In another crossover game, Granville beats Cohoes 46-0. The Golden Horde are now 2-1 on the year, and have a bye week in week four.

Warrensburg 52, Corinth-Fort Edward 0

In Class D, Warrensburg keeps rolling with a 52-0 win over Corinth-Fort Edward. The defending sectional champs are now 3-0 and get Whitehall up next.
