Shaker 28, Shenendehowa 14

In our Friday Night Matchup and a potential preview of the Class AA Super Bowl, Shaker beat Shenendehowa 28-14 to move to 2-0 on the season.

CBA 26, Colonie 8

The CBA football team improved to 2-0 on the season picking up another win 26-8 over Colonie Friday night.  The Brothers have a big crossover matchup next week as they go on the road to face Troy.  Colonie will be looking for its first win at home against Schenectady.

Bethlehem 30, Saratoga 0

Bethlehem bounced back from a tough week one loss in a big way.  The Eagles took down Saratoga on the road 30-0.  Give credit to that Bethlehem defense against the Blue Streaks.  The Eagles look to improve to 2-1 next weekend at Guilderland.  Saratoga will look to pull off a big road win at Shaker.

Guilderland 51, Niskayuna 0

The Guilderland football team was dominant in picking up its first win of the season 51-0 over Niskayuna.  The Dutchmen are now 1-1 heading into a week 3 matchup with Bethlehem.  Niskayuna falls to 0-2 on the season.

Schenectady 47, Green Tech 6

The Schenectady football team rolled to its first win of the year 47-6 over Green Tech Friday night.  The Patriots will look to make it 2 in a row at Colonie next week.  Green Tech is home to face Averill Park.

Troy 45, Amsterdam 26

This was just a 2 point game at the half, but Troy ran away in the 2nd half for a big Class A win over Amsterdam.  Troy improves to 2-0 heading into a crossover game with CBA next week.  Amsterdam will look to rebound at home against Columbia.

La Salle 27, Columbia 6

La Salle picked up a nice bounce back win on the road at Columbia 27-6 over the Blue Devils.  Our play of the night actually came out of this game as Traydon Lawrence stiff-armed half the Columbia defense en route to the endzone.  The Cadets are 1-1 heading to Albany next week.

Ballston Spa 49, Gloversville 6

After a tough loss last week, Ballston Spa cruised to its first win of the season Friday night.  The Scotties beat Gloversville 49-6.  Ballston Spa has a big matchup on the road at Mohonasen next week.  Gloversville is home against Glens Falls.

Averill Park 62, Albany 6

Averill Park dominated in its week two win over Albany beating the Falcons 62-6.  The Warriors improve to 2-0 on the season while Albany drops to 0-2.

Burnt Hills 55, Scotia-Glenville 12

Burnt Hills once again cruised to another win posting a 55-12 win over Scotia-Glenville.  The Spartans are now 2-0 on the year.

South Glens Falls 26, Broadalbin-Perth 0

The South Glens Falls defense pitched a shutout as the Bulldogs posted a 26-0 win over Broadalbin-Perth.  South High and Broadalbin-Perth are both now 1-1 on the year.

Glens Falls 34, Schuylerville 13

Glens Falls and Schuylerville met in a big early season Class B clash with the Indians winning 34-13.  The Indians may have lost some great talent but they're still the team to beat.  Glens Falls is now 2-0 while Schuylerville drops to 1-1 on the year.

Schalmont 22, Hudson 12

Schalmont bounced back after a tough week one loss by beat Hudson on the road 22-12.  The Sabres move to 1-1 on the season while Hudson falls to 0-2.

Johnstown 35, Lansingburgh 6

Johnstown picked up its first win of the season going on the road to beat Lansingburgh 35-6.  The Sir Bills can make it 2 in a row next week at Hudson Falls.  Lansingburgh will aim for its first win against Schalmont.

Watervliet 60, Coxsackie-Athens 14

The Pete Porcelli era is underway at Watervliet and it begins with a win.  The Cannoneers cruised to a 60-14 win on the road at Coxsackie-Athens Friday earning Porcelli his first win as Watervliet's head coach.

Greenwich 56, Granville 0

Greenwich looked good on both sides of the ball in a 56-0 win over Granville Friday.  The Witches look to make it back to back wins next week at Hoosick Falls.

Mechanicville 35, Hoosic Valley 12

The Mechanicville football team picked up its first win of the year 35-12 over Hoosic Valley Friday.  The Red Raiders aim for a 2nd straight next weekend against Fonda.

Fonda-Fultonville 47, Canajoharie 32

Fonda won a shootout over Canajoharie 47-32 to improve to 2-0 on the season.  A hard-fought game by both teams.  The Braves look for their 3rd straight next week against Mechanicville.

Voorheesville 42, Ichabod Crane 13

Voorheesville got in the win column after a tough week one loss last week.  The Blackbirds beat Ichabod Crane 42-12.

Stillwater 46, Tamarac 6

Stillwater looked good for a 2nd week in a row picking up a 46-6 win at home against Tamarac.  The Warriors are now 2-0 heading into a home game against Canajoharie next weekend.

Warrensburg 78, Cohoes 6

The defending Class D champs have been dominating in the first two weeks of the season.  They improved to 2-0 with a 78-6 win over Cohoes Friday night.
